Migrant workers often arrive in Aotearoa full of hope, but many face exploitation, isolation, and harm. The Migrant Exploitation Relief Foundation (MERF) provides vital support, helping workers access immediate resources, understand their rights, and safely leave exploitative situations. We also work to hold employers accountable and ensure migrants are empowered to speak up without fear.
